WHAT DOES DR. BACON LIKE ABOUT BEING A DENTIST?
Dr. Bacon enjoys listening to what his patients want and communicating with them to make sure that they understand everything prior to receiving care. His primary concern is your dental health, and the entire office is oriented around prevention. If you’re not already in good health, he knows what to do to get you there and how you can maintain your health to minimize future needs. Many patients that came in with multiple problems now visit just to get their teeth cleaned and are seldom in need of more dental work.
OUTSIDE OF THE DENTAL OFFICE, WHAT DOES DR. BACON LIKE TO DO?
Continuing education is a big passion for Dr. Bacon outside of working hours – in particular, he is interested in integrated health care and the effects of oral health and its relation to overall health and specifically cardiovascular health. Other personal hobbies include playing golf, skiing (both cross country and downhill), hiking and mountain biking. He has a Golden Retriever who insists on daily long walks through the woods and doesn’t care about Flagstaff oftentimes unpredictable weather. He also consistently wins 1st place at the County Fair with the roses he grows at his Leroux dental office. He is learning to speak Spanish and often visits Mexico – in fact, during a recent vision, he caught a 10 foot long sailfish in Zihuatanejo, which is a small Mexican town that’s about the same size as Flagstaff!
