Meet the Staff

Nina – Office Manager

Nina started her dental career in 2008, one year after moving from Brazil to Flagstaff. The address change gifted her with not only a new culture, different flavors, weather diversity and another language, but also what the legal field was lacking in her prior profession: the ability to help others every day. Nina loves interacting with people and her servant-heart is happiest when in action. When not at the office, Nina can be found on the sidelines of a tennis court or soccer field, cheering on her daughter and son, traveling with her family, watching a movie or on a date with her high school sweetheart, working out, experimenting with a new recipe, reading a book or two, or simply trying to catch her breath after all the above!

Kim – Accounts Receivable & Insurance Specialist

Kim has worked in dentistry for many years and is passionate about helping patients navigate insurance coverage to assist them with completing their oral healthcare needs. She moved up from the Valley a few years ago with her French Bulldog and they are loving the beauty of Northern Arizona.

Pam – Treatment Plan Coordinator

With a fun and upbeat personality and genuinely warm, Pam brings a caring heart and a welcoming presence to our team. Although new to Flagstaff, she is far from new to dentistry, with experience in every area of the practice, from front office operations to chairside assisting. As an exceptional treatment plan coordinator, she is passionate about helping patients clearly understand their care options while thoughtfully coordinating insurance benefits and financial arrangements. Outside the office, she loves cooking for family and friends, watching football and is a proud grandmother who treasures spending time with her little ones every time she can.

Dave – Patient Care Coordinator

Dave is our Patient Care Coordinator and loves helping patients. Dave, originally from Pennsylvania, graduated from Southern Illinois University. He spent many years in Los Angeles and moved to Flagstaff in 2023. Dave loves all the incredible outdoor activities that Flagstaff has to offer. He especially enjoys hiking and road biking. Dave is also a drummer, and you might catch him around Flagstaff playing with bands. Dave’s other passion is film and is a huge fan of horror, sci-fi and weird/unusual movies.

Drew – Patient Care Coordinator

Originally from Tucson, Drew relocated to Flagstaff for work and became part of our team in April 2023. He started with us as a Dental Assistant and later transitioned into the front office, where he now thrives as a Patient Care Coordinator. His clinical experience and comprehensive cross-training allow him to support the practice from both clinical and administrative perspectives. In his current role, Drew enjoys guiding patients through their care and ensuring they feel informed and supported every step of the way. He takes great pleasure in getting to know each patient who visits our office. Outside of work, Drew enjoys playing video games, expanding his knowledge through learning new things, LARPing, mentoring youth, and spending time with his wife, dogs, and cats.

Jessica – Lead Registered Dental Hygienist

Jessica is one of our dedicated dental hygienists here at Flagstaff Downtown Dental. She loves being interactive with patients and bringing them to feel comfortable and confident in the dental chair. Jessica loves working alongside her patients helping them achieve their oral health goals. Jessica was born and raised in Phoenix, graduated from Rio Salado’s Dental Hygiene Program in 2010 and worked in Phoenix for 10 years before meeting her husband and moving to Flagstaff. Jessica enjoys living in Flagstaff with her husband, daughter and 2 stepchildren. Her favorite season is Summer. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, paddle boarding, reading and walking.

Keen – Registered Dental Hygienist 

Keen enjoys getting to know her patients personally. She listens to their questions and concerns, to integrate the most effective approach to their dental health through education, prevention and treatment. Keen was raised in Phoenix – AZ. She has lived in Flagstaff since 1973 and received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Northern Arizona University. Keen has worked in public health, clinic instruction at NAU, periodontal and general dental practices. She has worked with Flagstaff Downtown Dental for over 25 years. She enjoys the great team she works with and the professional objectives of this practice that provide the highest quality of care to our patients. Keen enjoys time in the outdoors, travel, the arts, animals, her son, family, friends and her dog.

Bridgett – Registered Dental Hygienist

Bridgett is a graduate of NAU Hygiene School. Dr. Bacon hired her right out of hygiene school when he was her clinical instructor and invited her to join his team as she graduated. She still works here after 20 years. She has a reputation for being gentle but thorough. Her patients love her!

Bridgett enjoys camping, hiking, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

Angel – Registered Dental Hygienist

Originally from Montana, Angel is our very outgoing Hygienist and has been with our office since 2012. She is passionate about making your smile beautiful and healthy.  Also, making your dental experience as comfortable as possible. She loves being a mom and enjoys exploring the world with her little family, whether that is camping, hiking, traveling, snowboarding, or riding her motorcycle.

JoLena – Registered Dental Hygienist

JoLena joined the dental hygiene team at Flagstaff Downtown Dental in November of 2021. She graduated in 2009 with a dental hygiene degree from Northern Arizona University. She has had a long dental career starting at a dental office in high school, obtaining a dental assisting certification, and working as dental assistant for 9 years before returning to school for dental hygiene.  She loves building lifelong relationships with her patients while helping them achieve optimum oral health.  JoLena enjoys the great outdoors with her husband Jim and their dog, Lucy.  Outside of work you will find her hiking, biking, camping, skiing, running, traveling, baking and reading.

Priscilla – Registered Dental Hygienist

Priscilla has been a hygienist at FDD for 2 years. She has been a faculty member in Northern Arizona University’s Dental Hygiene department for 16 years. Priscilla has a passion for periodontics and feels that working in clinical settings (in addition to teaching) is beneficial for her students. Priscilla enjoys hiking, reading and spending time with her two children.

Bethany – Registered Dental Hygienist

Bethany is one of our wonderful Hygienists. She graduated from the NAU Hygiene school. She is dedicated to promoting smiles and optimal oral health. Bethany enjoys and takes pride in creating a comfortable environment for patients of all ages, and developing personalized home care plans that promote long-term wellness. Bethany is grateful that every day she is given the opportunity to educate and make a difference in someone’s life and be a part of something greater with our dental team than she could ever be alone. Bethany grew up here in Flagstaff, AZ. She married her high school sweetheart and is proud to call these beautiful mountains her home. She enjoys dancing, crocheting and spending time with her family.

Jenn – Dental Assistant

Jenn is one of our dedicated Dental Assistants and enjoys working in the dental field where every day brings something new. Jenn loves interacting with patients and helping them achieve their oral health goals. Jenn, originally from the Bay Area, graduated from Northern Arizona University and now calls Flagstaff home with her boyfriend and son. Jenn enjoys all the seasons Flagstaff has to offer- hiking and being near any body of water during the summer and being on the mountain in the winter. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and dogs, traveling and reading.

Dalilah – Lead Dental Assistant, Ordering and Equipment Specialist & Social Media Coordinator

Dalilah is one of our dedicated dental assistants. She loves working with her colleagues and takes pleasure in talking to our patients. Dalilah enjoys living in Flagstaff and also appreciates exploring new places. Her favorite season is Summer, when she does a lot of fishing and also has fun shopping. In her spare time, she can be found hiking, paddle boarding, thrifting and strolling at the local farmers market.

Alex – Dental Assistant

Alex began her dental career training for 3 years as a dental assistant straight out of high school in Germany, building a strong foundation in patient care before moving to the United States. With a genuine passion for helping people feel comfortable and supported, she takes pride in creating positive experiences for every patient she meets. Outside of the office, she loves football, especially cheering on her son from the sidelines; enjoys getting lost in a good book, and has a creative flair for decorating. She feels right at home in Flagstaff and appreciates the close-knit, small-town connections that make the community so special.

Addie – Dental Assistant

Meet Addie! She is one of our dental assistants at Flagstaff Downtown Dental and brings a warm, welcoming presence to our team. Originally from Murrieta, California, Addie moved to Flagstaff to pursue her Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science with a minor in Political Science at Northern Arizona University. Addie values building genuine connections and takes pride in helping create a comfortable, positive experience for every patient. Outside the office, she enjoys relaxing at local coffee shops, spending time with family and friends, and serving as a worship leader at her church.
